Russell "Doug" Stout

September 25, 1987 - April 18, 2022

Russell “Doug” Stout, 34 years old, passed away unexpectedly on Monday April 18th, 2022. He was born in Elizabethton to Frank Ira Stout and Debbie (Hester) Stout. Those left to cherish his memory are his parents; Step-mother, Janie Stout; his children, Riley Stout, Malachi Stout, Alexis (Lou) Preslor; Step children, Skylar and Lydia Oliver, and Bentley Cline; Brothers, Frank Stout (Angie), Billy Stout (Heather), Jack Stout (Shenandoah), and a sister Holly Stout; a half-sister, Brittany Price (Eddie); his girlfriend Jennifer Oliver as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Doug attended Valley Forge Free Will Baptist church. Doug was always willing to help anyone around him. He had a great sense of humor. He loved fishing, hunting and working on cars, He loved his children and his whole family. Doug never met a stranger. The funeral service for Doug will be held on Sunday April 24th, 2022 at 2:00 PM with Randy Johnson officiating. Music will be under the direction of Joel Crisp. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Tetrick Funeral Home in Elizabethton. The graveside service will be held at Markland Cemetery immediately following the funeral service. Active Pallbearers will be Jamie Stout, Jackson Stout, Caleb Stout, Frank Stout jr., Jaydyn Allara, and Calvyn Estep. Honorary pallbearers will be Zachary Holsclaw and Josh Moore.
