Nella Loretta Markland Bebber

August 20, 1935 - February 2, 2022

Nella Loretta Markland Bebber, age 86, of the Stoney Creek Community of Elizabethton, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital following and extended illness. Nella was born in Carter County to the late George Washington Markland and Ada Garland Markland. In addition to Nella’s parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Eliza Mae Berry in 1995; and a brother, Mark Dale Markland in 2005. Nella retired as a stain wiper at East Tennessee Chair Company and was a member of Moore’s Chapel. She loved her two little dogs, Sox and Neilla more than anything. Those left to cherish Nella’s memory include her son, Keith Bebber of the home; a step sister, Susie Street; a niece, Teresa Gray; and a special friend, Linda Snyder. A graveside service to honor Nella’s life will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 7, 2022 in the Taylor Cemetery in the Stoney Creek Community of Elizabethton with Pastor Nathan Jennings officiating. Active pallbearers will be John Markland, Gary Markland, David Markland, Timothy Pendlebury, Randy Ward, Arthur Stevens, Jeremy Hardin, Joe Morrell and Max Meyer. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at Tetrick Funeral Home of Elizabethton at 1:15 PM on Monday to go in procession to the cemetery.
