Nannie Bowers Morris Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Nannie Bowers Morris, age 88, of Elizabethton, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from the Johnson City Medical Center. Nannie was born in Elizabethton, Tennessee on October 26, 1933 to the late Clint Bowers and Virginia Calloway Mottern. In addition to her parents, Nannie was also preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Mack Morris; two children, Leon Morris and Diane Morris; and four siblings, Lillian Royston, James Bowers, Eston Bowers and Albert Bowers. Nannie retired from East Tennessee Undergarment in the cutting department and attended East Side Free Will Baptist Church. Those left to cherish Nannie’s wonderful memory include one grandson, Craig Morris of Elizabethton; two great granddaughters, Crystal McKeehan and husband Nick of Elizabethton and Kimmy Hyatt and fiancé Logan Trivette also of Elizabethton; three great great grandchildren, Dylan and Tyler McKeehan and Ambrosia McKeehan; two sisters, Helen Buckles and Evelyn Blevins both of Elizabethton; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service to celebrate and honor the life of Nannie Bowers Morris will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Highland Cemetery with Pastor Justin Deaton officiating. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at Tetrick Funeral Home of Elizabethton at 10:00 AM on Wednesday to go in procession to the cemetery.
