Mary Kathleen Buckles

January 25, 1949 - January 20, 2022

Mary K. Buckles, age 72 of Bluff City, Tennessee passed away Friday, January 20, 2022 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. Mary was born to the late Clyde and Martha Nickels Jones. Mary was a jack of all trades, good wife, good mother and was known for her kindness and for being a good friend. She was a member of Bluff City Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing cards and didn’t like to lose. What she loved the most was her family and those around her. Those left to cherish her memory included her husband, Garry Buckles; daughter, Dawn Foland; son, George Lewis Buckles; sisters, Dorothy Bowers, Shirley Staton, Joyce Deel and Martha Linebaugh; grandchildren, Coy Buckles, Heather Weir, Danielle Hammonds, Kaylee Buckles, Natalie Buckles; great grandchildren, Lilly Buckles, Mya Buckles, Jacoby, Elizabeth, Buckles and Oliver Weir; special cousins, Virginia Reeves, Lawrence Jones and Loretta Hodge; sister-n-laws, Teresia Bowman, Lola Johnson, Lettie Spears, Jo Hause, Sandra Buckles and Robin Buckles; several cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and her special dog, Sparky also survive. A service to honor the life of Mary Buckles will be conducted at 7:00 pm Monday, January 24, 2022 at Tetrick Funeral Home Bluff City Chapel with Howard Miller officiating. The family has requested that all attending wear a mask. The family will receive friends prior to the service at Tetrick Funeral Home Bluff City from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Graveside service and interment will be conducted at Morning View Cemetery at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. Those attending are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:50 pm.
