Click here to view a livestream of Harold's celebration of Life. Harold D. Myrick, 52 passed from this life Monday August 30, 2021, in the Mountain Home VA Hospital. He was born in Savannah, Georgia and raised in Elizabethton, Tennessee. Harold graduated from Elizabethton High School and soon joined the United States Army where he toured both Germany and Kuwait. He was employed by the Tennessee Department of Transportation. Harold was a religious man, Holy Ghost filled, full gospel. Smiley served his country, his state of Tennessee and most importantly he was a soldier for the Lord. He attended and taught at Carpenter Hands Ministry. Harold enjoyed cooking, playing video games and free time, but his true joy were his wife Jacqueline dogs Muffy and Chi-Chi and drawing. Harold was preceded in death by his father, Harold Myrick Sr. Survivors include his wife Jacqueline, two children son Jeremiah and daughter Jessica and her husband Ronald Daldine, his mother, Mary Myrick, two brothers, Howard (Noriko) and Gerald (Tracey), one niece and nephew as well as a host of cousins and friends. Funeral services for Harold D. Myrick will be conducted on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services, with Reverend Doctor Jeanette Clark officiating. The Myrick family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday after 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Harold will be laid to rest on Wednesday in the Mountain Home National Cemetery, New Annex at 2:00 P.M. with Jeremiah Sadler, Ronald Daldine, Jabrian Perry, Travis Simpson, James Reese, and Nathan Pippin serving as pallbearers. Calvin Sharp will serve as an honorary pallbearer. For those wishing to attend the graveside service, please meet at the cemetery no later than 1:50 P.M. Flowers are welcome.
