Dennis Dewayne Turbyfill Sr
December 2, 1971 - February 26, 2022
On Saturday, February 26, 2022 our precious father, Dennis Dewayne Turbyfill, Sr, went home to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 50. Dennis was born in Elizabethton to Ted Turbyfill and Nancy Alexander. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lisa Williams. Dennis worked at AO Smith Corporation in Johnson City and was of the Christian faith. He had a strong will and a stubborn streak but was very proud of his children and was a family man through and through. Dennis was a hard worker both in his employment and especially within his family. He kept up with politics and what was going on within the military. He loved classic rock, especially Led Zeppelin, and enjoyed shooting guns and target practicing. Dennis leaves behind his mother, Nancy Alexander; his beloved and cherished children, Denise Turbyfill, Dennis (Meghan) Turbyfill, Jr, Dustin (Hannah) Turbyfill, Austin Seal, C.J. (Whitley) Turbyfill, Zachary Turbyfill, and Madison Turbyfill; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other extended family also survive. A service to honor Dennis’ life will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 5, 2022 in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home of Elizabethton with Pastor Mark Street officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel prior to the service on Saturday. The committal and inurnment will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Dennis Turbyfill Jr. will serve as pallbearer. Dustin Turbyfill will serve as honorary pallbearer.
