Blanche Louise Thomas Tester

May 10, 1935 - January 22, 2021

Louise Tester went home peacefully to be with the Lord on January 22, 2021 after a lengthy illness. Louise was born in Bluff City, Tennessee on May 10, 1935, the daughter of Floyd and Lucille Thomas. In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her sister Frances Pearce, nephew Doug Pearce, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 62 years, Danne Tester; her brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and Jeanie Thomas; her nephew and his wife, Brandon and Amy Thomas; her niece and her husband, Jayna and Shane Phelps and their children and grandchildren (Jordan, Christian, Andrew, Hannah, Heidi, and Nolan); and several cousins. Louise encouraged everyone with her sweet, loving spirit and servant heart. She was a wonderful wife, daughter, sister, and aunt and a friend to everyone. She was office manager for her husband’s plumbing business for many years. Louise was a member of Brookside Baptist Church. Due to the COVID-19 risk, only a graveside service will be held in memory of Louise at the Bluff City Morning View Cemetery on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 1 pm, with Rev. Scott Watson officiating. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:50 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2021. Pallbearers will be family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, or the Bluff City Morning View Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 286, Bluff City, TN 37618. Due to COVID-19 risk, the family asks that all guests at the graveside wear a mask and practice social distancing. A special heartfelt thanks to Courtney and Ashley of Amedisys Hospice for their excellent care during the past few months. Online condolences may be shared with the family on our website, www.tetrickfuneralhome.com. Tetrick Funeral Home , Bluff City is honored to serve the Tester family. Office 423-538-7131.
