Anthony Jean Bernier

September 19, 1928 - March 2, 2022

Anthony Jean Bernier, age 93, of Elizabethton passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at his residence. Anthony was born in the United States Virgin Islands. Anthony was also preceded in death by his wife, Ernestine Greaux Bernier. Those left to cherish Anthony’s memory include his granddaughter, Elizabeth Bernier; his great grandsons, Calum Ryan and Brennan Ryan. Many friends he considered family also survive. A service to celebrate Anthony’s life will be conducted at 4:00 PM on Saturday, March 5, 2022 in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home of Elizabethton. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM in the funeral home chapel prior to the service on Saturday. The graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM at Washington County Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:50 PM on Sunday. In lieu of flowers the family requests plants or seeds for a memory garden they are constructing in honor of Anthony.
